Description

STV seeks aPlannerto be based out of our New York, NY or office and support ourCenter for Excellence. This is an outstanding opportunity for an energetic and hardworking specialist to prepare and deliver resilience and sustainability-focused planning, environmental, engineering, and project management insights while influencing decisions by clients and managers alike.

The Planner is responsible for:

  • Successfully delivering studies which analyze resilient and sustainable strategies, climate risks and preparedness and recovery approaches for multi-discipline projects with high degrees of technical complexity, project energy or emissions data or green design features.

  • Developing grant applications or other funding strategies for clients. Evaluating research and benefit-cost analyses, coordinating and compiling materials, and ensuring adherence to specific grant criteria and guidelines.

  • With guidance from the Manager, coordinating diverse and complex discipline-specific work tasks requiring planning, facilitation, and communication skills.

  • Consulting services to enable implementation of agency resilience or sustainability strategies and coordinating state and local agency reviews.

  • Working alongside practice and corporate leads, assisting with client development, business development and industry participation.

What you need:

  • Bachelors or Master of Science degree in planning, engineering, environmental, sustainability, urban resilience, or similar curriculum.

  • 3-7 years or experience in A/E/C industry with exposure, involvement, or expertise in resilience or sustainability topics.

  • Experience with data management and analysis, along with other performance monitoring systems preferred.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Compensation Range:

$93,695.00 - $122,443.00
