What you'll do:

What we are looking for:

• Implement and test new behavioral modeling enhancements that identify, measure, and monitor interest rate risk

• Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes, test new data connections, and customize reporting of model results from the ALM system

• Play an integral, hands-on role in the configuration, testing, and ongoing maintenance of the ALM risk platform and its shared use with other teams (e.g., Liquidity, Capital, FP&A)

• Perform analysis to calibrate and support IRR metrics

• Collaborate with second line of defense teams (Enterprise risk and Model Risk) to support ALM governance and improvements

• Perform ad-hoc analyses as needed in a fast and efficient manner

• Assist in creating presentation materials summarizing ALM enhancements and results for the Balance Sheet Management Sub-Committee and ALCO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics, business administration, accounting, or economics (5+ years of previous related work experience may be substituted for educational requirements)

• Master's degree or professional certification preferred

• A minimum of 3 years experience in financial services working with complex financial instruments (5 years preferred)

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with ALM systems (BancWare, Empyrean, QRM)

• Ability to understand, test, and interpret the impact of quantitative models on ALM results

• MS Office experience including Advanced Excel required

• Working knowledge of data management systems and visualization software is preferred (SQL, SAS, Tableau, MS Business Intelligence)

• Proactive and positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail
